Hertford Castle brings everything you need in one location, with exclusive hire and a memorable backdrop in which to host every moment of your Wedding from your ceremony through to your reception. We can welcome up to 60 guests for a ceremony and seated reception and 100 guests for a more informal reception gathering.

Hertford Castle Greenspace Renewal
Hertford Castle and the surrounding greenspaces have been a prominent feature of the county town for hundreds of years, featuring stunning grounds, 12th Century curtain wall, Anglo-Saxon motte, and much more.

Hertford Castle Greenspace Renewal (HCGR) aims to promote the sites rich history, improve access across the site, and increase biodiversity - the grounds of Hertford Castle will be transformed by a ‘once in a generation’ investment of £3.5 million, from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
