Hertford Castle Gatehouse is set in the heart of Hertford surrounded by beautiful, meticulously cared for grounds which provide a stunning backdrop for a corporate party.
In such a wonderful tranquil environment it’s hard to believe you are only 40 minutes from the centre of London.
If you have guests coming from afar we are 30 minutes from Luton airport and less than 10 minutes walk from both of Hertford’s train stations. Although we do not have on site accommodation, we are minutes away from the town centre where you will find many hotels and bars.
A combination of flexibility and style offers room layouts from formal banqueting dining to a more relaxed standing reception, with the stunning backdrop of the Castle, enjoy a BBQ, Hog Roast or Wood fired Pizzas within the charming grounds.
Cost effective venue hire prices also provide the opportunity to choose your own caterers or alternatively, we can provide a list of recommended caterers to suit your personal taste.
In addition, we also offer the option of Dry Hire with a low corkage fee, enabling you to bring your own drinks or use a pop up bar, dedicated to Gin or Prosecco!
We have a full entertainment licence so companies are free to organise a disco, live music or lay on a magician or whatever they wish.
