Retirement may be the end of your career but it's also the start of a new chapter in life and deserves a big celebration, historic Hertford Castle is the perfect venue to entertain and celebrate in style.
The Grade 1 Listed Castle offers a relaxing atmosphere set within beautiful grounds to gather, enjoy and relax with your family, friends and colleagues.
We offer flexible options to be able to hire just a single room or exclusive hire of the whole Downshire Suite, so if you are considering private dining for a small intimate lunch, a larger finger buffet or a relaxed party we have rooms available to accommodate from 8 – 100 guests, with room hire starting from £40 an hour.
Our experienced team can guide and assist you in organising your celebrations and you are welcome to arrange your own catering to suit your own tastes, however if you want to relax and let others take the strain we can recommend a caterer.
You can provide all your own alcohol, for a one-off corkage payment of just £300, or alternatively we can supply a selection of beverages.
